Deal Next week $ or $ Trillion Unemployment Extension of Unemployment Benefits. Airlines critical to National Security out of money in 5 days.

The airline industry has been hit especially had by that thing out there and could face significant layoffs if additional government funding is not provided soon.

According to Airlines for America, air travel is down 70% compared to last year and a deadline is quickly approaching that could mean unemployment for as many as 75,000 airline employees.

In the CARES Act, airlines were offered $25 billion in payroll support to keep pilots, reservation agents, flight attendants and more employed during these crazy times when people aren’t traveling much.

Unfortunately, this government support is set to end at the end of this month and thousands of hard working airline employees could be laid off if more stimulus isn’t provided by next week.

Nicholas Calio, CEO of Airlines for America explained: “The industry is in dire straights."

He continued: "At one point, passenger traffic was down 96%. It's now down 70% still. One third of our planes are parked, not flying, and we are losing $5 billion a month."

These numbers are truly shocking and I completely agree that the people that navigate us through the skys safely and soundly should receive necessary stimulus funding to ensure the stability of the industry.

Meanwhile, a new stimulus package could be announced any day now in the House of Representatives that could bring back extended enhanced unemployment benefits for millions of Americans.

This new stimulus bill is estimated to be in the range of $ - $ trillion and is expected to contain enhanced unemployment benefits.

Best of all? The bill could be ready to be voted on by next week!

That means that additional Federal unemployment benefits could be coming as soon as mid-October, if this bill gets the A-OK in Congress and President Trump signs it into law.

While details about the specifics of the upcoming stimulus package have not yet been announced, stay tuned to the channel for the latest updates on how much money will be offered and for how long these vital unemployment funds will be offered.

Finally, 2 new states have joined the cool kids table of states that are providing their citizens with weekly $300/$400 unemployment benefits from FEMA.

Congratulations to South Carolina and Vermont, as I’m hearing that LWA unemployment benefits have started going out in your states!

That leaves just 10 states, Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, Oregon, Virginia and Wisconsin waiting patiently for their weekly $300/$400 stimulus unemployment checks to arrive.

I just hope that these states can provide the necessary $1,800 and $2,400 unemployment benefits to the people that need these funds TODAY.

If you still have not applied for unemployment benefits in your state, start your weekend off right and apply for the PUA or unemployment insurance today.

Provide them with your employment history and supporting documents, tell them that you are out of work due to that thing out there, and you could be in the pipeline to receive a backdated unemployment check for over $10,000.

To all the gig-workers, self employed, independent contractors, 1099 workers, even side hustlers and part time gigers, the PUA was created with you in mind, and can offer you thousands of dollars in state funds that you might not know that you are eligible for.

Plus, you could also receive the FEMA $1,800 or $2,400 unemployment benefit as well!

Make sure to take advantage of this amazing government program before they run out of money from both FEMA and state unemployment programs.
